| OCT 24 | The Third mid-term exam will be on 26 NOV 2001 covering chapter 6 , chapter 7 , and chapter 8 and some parts of chapter 10 and 11 .Bring blank blue book.The closed-book open-book format will be used as before. |
| OCT 17 | The second mid-term exam will be covering chapter 3 , chapter 4 through 4.3 , and chapter 5 .Bring blank blue book.The closed-book open-book format will be used as before. |
| OCT 15 | The second mid-term exam will be on 24 Oct 2001 covering chapters 3 , 4 , and 5. |
| SEP 25 | 1.Problem 2-17 will be 20 points extra credit. |
| SEP 12 | 1.Homework#5 problems 2 & 3 will be optional extra credit due on SEP17. 2.The first midterm exam will be on 01 OCT 2001. It will have a closed book part worth 10% to 15% and an open book part worth 90% to 85% respectively. |
